

Not nearly as good as the first an excellent example that less can be more. Despite all these things, it's a decent bejewled-esque game.

The style is the same and the outfits are good for the most part. Girls no longer send photos, and there's only CG of the sex scenes. The art has not evolved or improved from the first. Sadly there are no "secret" characters either, once you finish the goal given at the start, that's it. Also there's 12 characters at the start: which is as many as the entirety of the first game. Half the new girls are decent, but about half of the new cast is annoying or a stereotype, but almost everyone has shallow writing.

Overall a definite step back from the first game in terms of quality of life. The UI is not intuitive in many areas and can take a few minutes to figure out with experimentation. Outside of the puzzles there are lots of small issues with how items and XP are handled. This game is much harder than the first through the new puzzle mechanics, which work in tandem against the player in ways I can only describe as annoying or tedious.
